During J Prince's 60th birthday celebration on Prince Island, he and Cliff Blodget were filmed reminiscing about the early days of Rap-A-Lot Records. The footage, shared by photographer and journalist Julia Beverly, reveals that the two have maintained their friendship over the years.

John Bido & J Prince Reunion:
In a recent trip to Ghana, J Prince also reunited with legendary producer John Bido, known as Bido 1. J Prince is encouraging Bido to return to the United States, as highlighted in the above clip.
Bido, a pivotal figure in crafting the Rap-A-Lot sound, has mentored notable producers like Mike Dean and Mr. Lee. As Bido’s son, Charlie P, remarked on Instagram, “If Bido comes back to the states, it’s up for you other producers!”
